Synergy was formed in 2009 to bid for a large lottery grant, which would enable Grimsby to have it’s own state of the art creative lifestyle facility in the centre of town. Although this bid was unsuccessful, the core members Stuart Hall (Channel 7) Sean Atkinson (Focus-7) and Claire Wollington (Contract Lincs) took the seeds of Synergy forward and established Synergy Grimsby CIC in May 2010.
Now operating out of a small studio in Freeman Street market’s new skills centre, Synergy is using the latest media technologies to engage with people in the East Marsh, the Grimsby area and nationally.
